The seminar is being organized by SOCIETY FOR FINANACIAL LITERACY AND CONSUMER AWARENESS (SOFICA) - A student society of SGND KHALSA COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, DEV NAGAR NEW DELHI-110005

SOFICA is a society for promoting consumer awareness and financial literacy among people at large by holding seminars, conferences and road shows. The main objective of society is to educate people about their legal rights, guide them about prevailing malpractices in the market, and demonstrate safe and ethical consumer behavior.

SRI GURU NANK DEV KHALSA COLLEGE is one of the constituent colleges of DELHI UNIVERSITY managed by DELHI SIKH GURUDWARA MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. S.HARDEEP PURI (IFS and former Foreign Secretary, Govt. of India) is the chairman of the governing body and DR. MAN MOHAN KAUR is the Principal.  The college has about 2000 students on roll in various courses.
